I have way too little time left until Usability Test arrives and I have yet to get the 360 degree video coded in the project. Minken and I have tried many different ways to get it working but it was not the resolution, it wasn't codes clashing together and it was not video format either. We have tried watching different tutorials and forums but only one we have yet tested which is the plugin and unity versions colliding each other but it was way too little time to test it anymore. I decided that I'd have to change my questionnaire and my focus of my user test in other to be a fruitful data collection for me. I changed the full scale user test plan to mainly focusing on the mechanism, project art direction and story interpretation.

The main questions I asked users were on what they thought the story was about without me disclosing it to them, what they associate the project art direction with and gave them checkboxes and asked them whether they were User Experience malfunctions when interacting with the mechanisms. Here is the survey form I drafted for the Usability test for the targeted areas of testing.

These 2 questions were to clarify whether or not users find the scene assets to hold certain meaning or whether I am just adjusting the placement of these assets as aesthetic purposes only, I want to find out if users actually notices them. I also want to know whether or not users are able to smoothly change the scene on their own.

As for the questions these 2 sections, in terms of mechanism wise, I asked if users were able to comfortably hover and move their hands within the experience. I gave users a list of keywords on what they think the art style of the project falls on to make sure I am creating consistent overall look and feel. I also wanted to know the emotions and physical experience when interacting such as are they nauseated or panicked? I included a question on whether they found areas I could work better on or suggestions they could give.

Lastly, I included questions regarding the animatics asking what users think the story is about without me disclosing it to them. I also wanted to get their feedback on what they think of the music.

With the limited time to debug the video problem before the test, this set of questions is my resolve as the results will still be beneficial to me regardless of the video fix. Now is to try to get as much feedback as possible!
