I continue to work on my visuals and thought of different stores that could be added to the city scene and draw another restaurant with more shapes and depth so that characters could be added into the building. I start to feel the struggle of drawing all the walls slowly, just this building took me one whole day to colour and line it and I needed a whole city scene. I was starting to panic a bit but I still continued trusting that I can do it.

This is the restaurant I mentioned, I drew and coloured each wall one by one to get this effect. I also added characters inside. I do like the outcome but this took an entire day and the way I'm working now doesn't seem like the most efficient.

Next, I drew city thugs, bystanders, basically citizens to add more spice into the scene. All characters took only a day to draw and I'm very proud of all of them. They have weird attributes such as having bananas as their head, a special appearance of Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell franchise and even friends I drew inside the world. Drawing characters I know into the scene makes the process more enjoyable. At this point I can already gage how my overall look and feel could be and it was promising to me. Hence, I continued developing the scene.

AUDIO

I outsourced the audio of this project to a friend of mine to develop. I have no talent and skills in composing a track from scratch and I want my audio to be a remix/new track inspired by "Escape" by Jaroslav Beck. I mentioned and met up with him during the sem break and we discussed a bit more on the track. I also attached the animatics of this project with the music "Escape" so that he could grasp the idea and feel of the track to develop the a whole new soundtrack. He sends me demos from time to time and it was very promising as well! I have not heard the full track yet so I can't comment too much but from the looks of things, I'm expecting a good one! To listen to the demo soundtrack:
