I slowly but surely built the city scene accordingly using grease pencil. I added more details such as sketching details, adding lights and glowing material to make the scene look more complete. As I was drawing away with grease pencil, I noticed that the grease pencil material does not have reflection. For example, I created a reflective material that looks like a water puddle on the roads but the characters did not get rendered with the that reflective material. In my main reference I really liked this reflective element and knowing that grease pencil could not do that I was saddened. I later turn to other options and I noticed that if I created Images and turn them into PNG, that UV Mapping material, in other words image texture, the reflection works. I then proceeded to use this method to create my visuals instead.

I used the transparent image texture and created the buildings on the back. I figured that the scene wont be very emphasised on the background graphics, this method will be a nicer and simpler way to create more details. If you look closely, I used the UV mapping method on the green fences behind too.

The flooring here is all drawn with grease pencil, I figured that since the reflection does not apply anyway so I did not use the UV mapping method on the roads.

Once I got the hang of creating graphics with the UV mapping method, I created more buildings! This way of doing things make my progress much faster than drawing wall by wall slowly. Instead, I just have to map the same image texture on 4 sides of the building. Since I have a more complete scene, I decided to test render the spherical rendering (360 degree render).

The above is a result of the test render
