When I was coming up with my storyboard, I figured that the structure I initially pitched was very hard to involve my graphics in. The angled room is hard to showcase the characters I wanted to involve as well the overall scene transition will not fit into the structure especially with my chosen art direction. Also, the interactivity is not really ideal to tell the story of my chosen topic. Although the movement is cool and dynamic but at this point I understand that it serves no definite purpose to my project.
The new revised idea is a 6 panel structure possibly made with foam board to have more light bounce. This new structure and functionality is inspired by the mind map I was doing, I was trying so hard to connect the dots and the I thought to myself that perhaps it'll be more interesting if my users connect the dots for the story as well. People understand differently and this can be a room for exploring for them. Hence, this is how the new idea came about.

The 6 panel will be the platform for the projection mapping showcase backed up with sensors. When users touch a certain scene, a part of the story will be shown. The stories will be in random order so it is up to the users to pitch it together and by the end of it, the showcase will restart itself.
As you can see from the lower sketch, it is clear that I can't let go of the moving mechanism hahaha. BUT I think the dynamic and fluidity of the showcase ultimately is on my ability to create illusions. I dropped this moving mechanism idea because prioritising the animation is the most crucial part of the project and I should allocate more time for it as well as the process to learn how to code the sensors to be tallied with my ideation.
